IT ALL STARTS WITH HEALTHY HAIR & SCALP Here at Sam Wong Salon we are a close-knit group of like-minded independent stylists working as a cohesive team, and operating as individual businesses under one roof. In 2006 we opened our doors in Frederick. Rather than settling for the conventional, chemical-laden big corporate brands used by most salons at the time, we made it our mission to research and discover healthier alternatives. In the beginning, it wasn’t easy. Many clients were unsure, believing cleaner products couldn’t deliver the same results—that the hair color wouldn’t last or perform as well. The first thing they noticed was the absence of the harsh chemical odors when they walked through our doors. Then they saw their hair becoming healthier and stronger. Before long, they were hooked, and we were committed to creating a healthier salon experience. It turns out that was the best business decision we could have made for our clients and ourselves! Our work space concept was to create an environment that was warm, inviting and to invoke that familiar feeling of stepping into a friend’s living room. There’s no better way to showcase gorgeous color or a custom haircut than healthy hair, and we are here to help you attain and maintain just that! As a courtesy to our team, we request a 24-hour (2 business days) notice to cancel/reschedule your appointment. We understand this is not always possible, but it's apricated as it gives us the opportunity to rebook the time.
